Assalaamu Alaykum
Good Day

I trust you are well through the Mercy of Allah.

We are in the first week of the Islamic Month of Rajab 2025.

Oh Allah, afford us the Blessings of experiencing the coming months of Shabaan and Ramadan 2025, Aameen.

We are also entering the last week of 2025 and we Thank the Almighty Allah for His Mercy and Blessings on all of us.

Over the past 52 weeks Nakhlistan has serviced the needy within our Communities.

Through our weekly Soup Kitchens, Nakhlistan has serviced Educares, Church Groups, Madrassahs, Masajied, Community Organizations, NGO's, PBO's, Pre-Schools, Primary Schools, High Schools, Feeding Schemes, Orphanages, Women's Shelters, Old Age Homes and Frail Care Facilities, all over the Western Cape.

Nakhlistan is only able to serve the community through the Mercy of the Almighty and our kind donors and sponsors.

Nakhlistan needs to receive funds before it can distribute to the needy.

To all supporters of Nakhlistan, which includes businesses, organizations, individuals, families, friends and the community at large, Shukran, Thank You, Dankie and Baie Tramakassie.

It is the December School Holidays. It is the time when families and friends come together to enjoy each other's company.

Please be safe and vigilant on the roads. Be kind to one another and lend a helping hand wherever you can.

Our world needs more love, kindness, compassion, understanding, sharing and caring.

Dua to be Recited from tonight After Maghrib Salaa

Dua to be Recited from tonight After Maghrib Salaah Daily

When the moon is Sighted for Rajab:

Rajab, being the seventh month of the Islamic calendar is a stepping stone to the auspicious months of Sha’baan and Ramadaan. Rajab is from the Ash'hurul Hurum (Sacred months), where the rewards of virtuous deeds are increased. On the commencement of the month of Rajab, Rasulullah ﷺ would recite the following Dua:

اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي رَجَبٍ وَشَعْبَانَ وَبَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَانَ

“Allahumma baarik lanaa fee Rajabin wa Sha'baana wa ballighnaa Ramadaan.”

“Oh Allah! grant us blessings in the month of Rajab and Shabaan, and make us reach the month of Ramadaan.” (Shu'abul-Imaan)

This Dua should be recited regularly at the advent of the month of Rajab. In preparation for Ramadhaan, the relevance of Rajab maybe understood as the month to sow seeds (good actions), Sha’baan is the month in which we should water those seeds (with tears of repentance) and Ramadaan is the month in which we reap the harvest.

May Allah Ta’ala bless us with witnessing Ramadaan and grant us the ability to spend it in a manner that is most pleasing to Him, آمــــــــــين آمــــــــــين يا رب العالمين آمین يا رب العرش العظيم

During the third week of Jamad-Ul Thani, #Nakhlistan was able to provide Bread and Polony to the following Soup Kitchens:

Bonteheuwel, Lentegeur, Belgravia Vlei, Hanover Park and Valhalla Park.

Nakhlistan cooked and distributed Soup and Bread in Newfields Village.

Nakhlistan also cooked and distributed 3 pots of Aknie in the Streets of Manenberg. This event was hosted by (SAPS) South African Police Services Management and the Exco of the (CPF) Cape Police Forum. Nakhlistan and the Greenhaven Ratepayers / Crimewatch distributed the hot meal. This event happens every year and this year almost 800 street children, orphans and adults in Manenberg enjoyed this meal.

Furthermore, Nakhlistan also cooked Aknie for an Event for the Elderly in Mitchells Plain.

We also cooked 3 x 130lt Sadaqah Pots of Chicken Aknie for distribution in Schaapkraal and surrounding areas.
